Brussels further expands MICE offer in 2024
Brussels continues to evolve and so does the city’s MICE offering. Several new sites will open in the European capital in 2024, while improvements in transport will make it easier to reach the city by train and plane.
In the year when Belgium holds the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union, Brussels is in the spotlight as a leading destination for meetings and business events. The calendar is filled with all kinds of high-profile events, special meetings and exhibitions.
New hotels
Accommodation options in Brussels continue to grow. After the opening of The Mix, Hoxton and Voco in 2023, more hotels will be added to the offer in 2024. Such as the Hilton Garden Inn Brussels Airport and some iconic locations will get a new lease of life, such as the Cardo Brussels Hotel and theCorinthia Brussels Grand Hotel Astoria.
Rooftop locations
For panoramic views of the city, there are several new rooftop locations. Rooftop 58 offers an impressive 360-degree view of the city centre, while the rooftop terrace of Belgian Beer World gives a unique view of the historic city centre. You can also enjoy unforgettable views of Brussels at Tope (at The Hoxton) and Eight (Bedford Hotel).
Attention to associations
Brussels is not only a place for leisure, but also a hub for international associations and networks. The Association Place acts as a vibrant hub for collaboration, thanks in part to initiatives such as the monthly cycle of Associations Connect. This makes Brussels a hotspot for knowledge exchange and business connections.
Pop-up wave continues
Temporary sites continue to spread through the city. Imagine an unusual event, taking advantage of a venue’s potential, in industrial settings such as Reset Brussels, LionCity, Track or Studio CityGate.
European railway hub
By train to Brussels? Take advantage of the connections available for day or night travel thanks to the Eurostar network, improved connections to France and Germany and luxurious ‘European Sleeper’ night trains to Berlin, Prague or Vienna.
New airline connections
Travelling to and from Brussels will be even easier in 2024 thanks to new connections. ANA resumes flights to Japan, Singapore Airlines launches a direct route to Singapore, Play introduces transatlantic flights, and United Airlines doubles the number of connections between Brussels and Newark.
