On 15 September, event company Easyfairs and Event Group Op ‘t Hof Group will organise ‘The World’s Biggest Quiz’ with a record number of participants.
The Biggest Quiz, as the name suggests, is an ambitious initiative with the aim of bringing together as many people as possible. “It is an event for everyone. On the one hand for die-hard quizzers but equally for groups of friends, family or colleagues who want to spend a fun evening together,” says Alain D’Haese, COO of Easyfairs Belgium. “And of course it would be great to break the world record of 4,900 participants. That’s what we’re going for, especially since the entire proceeds will be donated to Fiola vzw.”
To make that venture one big party, Easyfairs and Op ‘t Hof Group are putting in the big resources. The evening will kick off with an After Work event with music, food and drinks. Ghent comedian Jan Matthys will then take on the presentation of the quiz. There is also a nice prize pool, including the prestigious ‘The Biggest Quiz’ cup, thanks to the support of many partners and surrounding companies. After the quiz, participants can have a nice chat over a drink.
The proceeds of the evening will go to Fiola vzw, an organisation that provides ambulatory and mobile support to people with disabilities and their networks. “It will be one big party with a big heart” concludes Alain D’Haese.
