On Thursday 26 October 2023, the acclaimed Servantes Awards were presented in the enchanting setting of De Filatuur in Aalst.
The world of local government often harbours unseen heroes – the ‘local civil servants’ who work day in, day out for the good of their communities. The Servantes Award, a tribute to excellence, is the perfect opportunity to recognise and celebrate these dedicated employees.

The evening begins with a warm welcome, where guests have the opportunity to mingle and nurture expectations for the evening. The welcome speech opens the ceremony, followed by an inspiring keynote by Danny Van Assche, delegate director of Unizo, then an engaging panel discussion follows with the presentation of the Awards as the highlight of the evening!

After the official ceremony, it will be time to relax and enjoy an exquisite walking dinner.
A great opportunity for attendees to network informally, share experiences and forge new connections in a relaxed atmosphere.
It is an evening where the taste buds are indulged and gastronomic delights go hand in hand with the festive atmosphere. My Gusto Catering provided varied reception appetisers including a Horn with Smoked Salmon Mousse & Chives. The walking dinner included delicious balanced dishes such as Cod with Roasted Cauliflower and a risotto with Bosch mushrooms and pecorino cheese. Finally, a delicious dessert buffet was provided.

My Gusto Catering was also responsible for the complete decoration of the venue, all furniture, decoration, plants right down to the red carpet.
The client was wildly enthusiastic, the guests enjoyed themselves and returned home satisfied!
