On Sunday 5 February 2023, some of Antwerp’s best chefs will gather at the renowned Hilton Antwerp Old Town hotel. During the 21st edition of Antwerp Diner, they will dish up a gastronomic menu. In doing so, they will raise money for research into HIV and AIDS and its prevention.
Antwerp’s top chefs will give their best on the night and provide a gourmet menu. Belgian artists with their hearts in the right place provide a dance party. Each year, Antwerp Diner can count on an enthusiastic team of volunteers and partners.
Standing behind the cooker this year: Gino Lemmens (Les Années Folles), Andy Decremer (Fiera), Wesley Debord (Madonna), Bert-Jan Michielsen (The Butcher’s Son*), Tim Meuleneire (Franq*), Olivier de Vinck (Kommilfoo* ), Frederic Van Tricht, Francesco de Candia (Francesco & Julia), and Dennis Broeckx (L’Epicerie du Cirque “Under The Palm Trees”).
Guy Leclef Forwart Gallery (Antwerp) is donating an artwork by Guy Leclef for auction the evening itself. The artist is known for his interpretations and forms of expression to break new ground with paper. I.c.w. auction house Bernaerts will also auction a number of (art) items online from 21/06, including a work by artist An Selen and a signed chef’s vest. Five of these pieces will be auctioned off during the gala itself.
The Antwerp Dinner Tombola also promises to be another highlight; top prizes include a trip to Tenerife, and a handmade piece of jewellery. All proceeds from the 2023 benefit dinner will go to Sensoa, the Institute of Tropical Medicine and VZW Tomorrow4isibani.
There are still a few seats available to reserve via this link.
Antwerp Diner was founded in 1996 and can only exist thanks to the support of sponsors and numerous volunteers. For more information, please visit www.antwerp-diner.be or www.facebook.com/Antwerp.Diner.
